Trade Volume Was Light Monday

MORNING LIVESTOCK OUTLOOK

Maybe traders are less concerned about inflation, maybe it is the dog days of summer, or maybe it is nearing the end of summer that put Live Cattle futures prices lower Monday. After last week’s solid move higher on cash cattle, traders aren’t looking for a big up move this week.  More than likely it could be a dull week as the trade waits for the Cattle on Feed report on Friday. Volume was light Monday.

The CME Lean Hog Index narrowed to the CME Pork Index again on Monday.
