LC Trade Volume Was Moderately Active

MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK

CATTLE COMPLEX 

Cattle futures bounced into contract highs shortly after the open, turned lower, then higher to finally close down on the day.  Spread traders were buying cattle and selling hogs throughout the day. Trade volume was moderately active.

PORK COMPLEX

Cash hogs and cash pork prices are slowly and steadily working lower.  The market is questioning what will happen on April 2nd about the tariffs and what will happen on the hogs and pigs report.  Look for light trading through the week.
