MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
CATTLE COMPLEX
On Tuesday traders were buying cattle and selling hogs and narrowing spreads between April cattle and June cattle. Volume was light and it was mostly spreading.
PORK COMPLEX
Packer margins dropped to negative. As more hogs become available and weights increase, it will be hard for packers to slow kill. Instead they will lower hog prices.
