The cattle report is bearish because Cattle on Feed as of January 1, 2022 and the placements 6 percent above with biggest numbers placed the lightest cattle. Placement numbers are most bearish for later spring through June.
Very light pork movement on daily carcass price. Shows packers can charge daily buyers whatever prices they want.
