Soon after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in History, Jim Seymour was offered the opportunity to join a floor trading group at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1994. After six years of working in the Eurodollar pit for International Futures and Options Associates, Jim moved to St. Louis and continued his career in commodities as Information Coordinator for the Futures unit at A.G. Edwards and Sons (AGE).  After transitioning to a broker role in AGE’s Merrillville, IN branch, a series of industry buyouts eventually led Jim back to St. Louis as manager of Wells Fargo Advisors futures trading in 2008. After 14 years at WFA, Jim joined Archer Financial Services and opened the St. Louis branch in 2022.  He and his partner Patty Jenkins bring over 50 years of combined futures trading experience with them.

The son of a former Chicago Bear, Jim is a competitive runner and lives in suburban St. Louis with his wife and two daughters.
