Tuesday ‘s trade volume was very light. Spreading was the majority of the trading, selling cattle and buying hogs as well as selling February and then buying on out. Lean hogs are moving higher along with cash pork. Daily pork on Tuesday morning was .47 lower but the CME Pork Index has been steadily moving higher. Exports for the data collect so far are up from Mexico but down from Japan which goes along with the strong peso and lower yen. South Korea exports were also lower
