MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
CATTLE COMPLEX
Live cattle and feeder cattle futures continue to show strength for 2026 futures. Due to the low placements buyers are adding to longs on spring cattle into summer cattle.
When funds begin to add for the fourth quarter, expect to see December gain on February and April.
PORK COMPLEX
Lean hog traders are discounting the friendly Hogs and Pigs report. The day after the report, September 26th lean hogs took the news as bullish but since have fallen for 3 days. On Wednesday, December and February dropped to the 45 day moving average for the first time since August 20th.
