MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
LIVE CATTLE
Last week cash cattle prices were steady to slightly weaker in the Midwest and down $1.00 to $2.00 in the southwest. Cattle in the Midwest mostly $198.00 to $199.00 and in the southwest $188.00. The spread between the regions remains extremely wide. The US continues to increase beef imports.

LEAN HOGS
Little change on the cash prices for hogs and pork from a week ago. Biggest change came for lean hogs from October on out with traders spread trading buying august and selling on out. There are two weeks of July with spreaders dominating markets. After big exports a week ago, this past week exports were disappointing.
