MORNING LIVESTOCK OUTLOOK
Rib and loin sections drove cutout higher, now they are driving it lower. The spread between Choice and Select beef is also narrowing.
For the first two days of the week compared to last week hog slaughter is down 28,000 head and even lower than last year by 23,000 head. There are fewer head for slaughter, and hogs are lighter.
