MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
CATTLE COMPLEX
Trade volume increased Wednesday. Live cattle from December through April 2025 had traders bull spreading. Live Cattle remain slightly bear spread, but the spreads have been narrowing and could move to bull spreads into December.

There are reports that claim the port strike has wholesalers and fast food restaurant beef buyers buying beef concerned that beef imports will become harder to come by. However most meat products are air freighted versus by boat. It may be happening. Beef imports are up over 20% and large users such as fast food chains and large meat suppliers may be trying to add stocks.
PORK COMPLEX
Lean Hog volume was moderately active. Lean Hog spreads are bear spread from December through April and traders narrowed spreads on Wednesday.
