MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
CATTLE COMPLEX
US Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke l. Rollins announced the suspension of all live cattle, horse, and bison imports through US. southern border entries. “She is suspending imports of livestock through the Mexican border on a “month-by-month basis”.
PORK COMPLEX
Trading consisted mostly of fund rolling and may lean hogs lower as it comes closer to convergence as it goes off the board next week. Compared to a week ago hog slaughter was down 49,000 head. Year to date slaughter is down 1,058,184 head.
