MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
CATTLE COMPLEX
The fundamental news of the week is the quarantine of Mexico feeder cattle. With the current inventory of cattle, the US needs the Mexican feeders.
Mexico has another big problem that will affect feeder cattle. The states of Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, Durango and Coahuila are in a severe drought with a marginal drought in Zacatecas and the Bajio.
PORK COMPLEX
With hog prices gaining on pork prices it is negative for packers. They are slowing kill and fill exact pork orders and no more.
