MORNING LIVESTOCK OUTLOOK
Live Cattle futures gapped higher Wed on the news of the higher cash cattle prices. With some of the prices paid in the Midwest this week, futures could have been limit up but with some of the prices paid in the Southwest, future prices could have been lower.
July lean hogs rallied on Wed as July became the lead month after June lean hogs went off the board on Tuesday. June hogs settled on the board at $108.45. Tuesday July lean hogs settled at $106.62 and Wednesday moved up to meet the June close.
