MORNING LIVESTOCK OUTLOOK
Trade volume for Cattle Thursday was about half of Wed. Thursday was mostly spec trading and inter market spreading, buying cattle and selling hogs. Since June 1st the August Cattle/ August Lean Hog spread has moved $10.00.
Total pork exports at the end of April were down 21 percent and that is a major concern. Brazil is selling more pork to countries that bought US pork with trade agreements made during the tariff conflicts along with Europe selling more pork as China buys less EU pork.
