Ag Fundamentals:
- Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and China’s Vice Premier He Lifeng will meet in Malaysia this week.
- President Trump and China’s leader Xi will meet later this month.
- The current US/CHina trade truce is expected to expire in November.
- President Trump mentioned Colombia over the weekend expressing concerns over drug movement. Colombia is a major importer of both corn and wheat.
- Brazil’s soybean planting pace is at around 23-25% done. This time last year they were at 9% planted.
Brazilian weather is expected to remain fair for planting the next couple weeks.
The Next 7 days of Rain is mostly hitting AR, OK, MO, and KS. Some rains could slow harvest pace in northern MN as well.
