Broker Profile

Sam Trainor, a 2020 graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Agricultural Business, began his career in the commodity industry as a broker assistant in Bloomington, IL. After earning his Series 3 brokerage license, he gained hands-on experience in the cash side at a grain elevator in Gridley, IL.

Sam now manages the Pontiac, IL branch of Archer Financial Services, and works directly with clients to provide personalized marketing plans that combine his cash marketing expertise along with technical analysis. He draws on his broad experience to help each operation achieve its unique goals.

Sam resides just outside of Pontiac in Cornell, IL with his wife and two children, and they are expecting their third child in early May 2026.
